Aluminum
As performance improvement through weight reduction has become a demand of the times, aluminum is widely used in transportation fields such as automobiles, railway vehicles, aircraft, ships, and containers.. Additionally, taking advantage of its lightness, aluminum is used to enhance the work efficiency of high-speed rotating parts and sliding parts in various machines, and to suppress weight increase when equipment is scaled up, resulting in various benefits.The specific gravity of aluminum is 2.7. Compared to iron (7.8) and copper (8.9), it is about one-third the weight, making it easy to use among metals. .Aluminum is also soft, highly ductile, and easy to process. Furthermore, due to the oxide film formed on its surface, it has good corrosion resistance despite its high ionization tendency.
